Segovia
If you are all able to ever visit Spain, than you need to take a short train tride out of Madrid to this magical town full of rich culture and history. I was able to visit their on Saturday the 13th of January, and I was the most impressed by its beautiful castle and cathedral. The center of Segovia is on the top of hill and surrounded by a wall that starts-ends at the the Alcazar Castle.
The cathedral is located directly next to the main plaza that I spent time in, and is grand in both beauty and height. We never went in because of price but I enjoyed its views. The castle was beautiful to walk through with visuals of the king“s quarters, information on past war generals and weapons-armory that soldiers used. The sights from the top of the castle showed off the beauty of the hills and mountains surrounding the city. Enjoy these pictures and check out my webshots for more!
